Should your debit order fail, you will be notified by SMS and the outstanding fee will be added to your next debit order. If your debit order fails twice, your account will be suspended and all your benefits and rewards will be cancelled.

If your SILVER / GOLD membership has been suspended, you can visit your nearest bonsella store and speak to in store bonsella agent to reactivate your account, or contact the bonsella Call Centre on 087 310 2871.
Yes, you can downgrade your SILVER / GOLD membership to the FREE bonsella card at any time (provided you give a minimum of 3 days notice before your debit order date). When you downgrade, you will forfeit all exclusive SILVER / GOLD benefits. You can contact the bonsella Call Centre on 087 310 2871 to cancel your membership and then visit your nearest bonsella store to obtain a new FREE bonsella card from the in store agent.
To cancel your bonsella membership, you can go in store and cancel with the bonsella in store agent, or you can call the bonsella Call Centre on 087 310 2871. Upon cancellation, your bonsella card will be void - no more airtime rewards will be earned and all benefits will be cancelled. You will need to cancel at least 3 days before your next debit order date.
To change your registered cell phone number, you can visit your nearest bonsella store or contact our bonsella Call Centre on 087 310 2871 and an agent will assist you with updating your details.

Claims must be submitted within 6 months of the death of the main member in order to be paid.
The following documents are required to claim:
- Certified copy of beneficiary's ID
- Certified copy of deceased member's ID
- Certified copy of deceased's death certificate
- BI-1663 form with completed information of the notice of death
- Copy of beneficiary's bank statement with a bank stamp
- Police Report for unnatural death
- Completed claim form (obtained from the Insurer)

The bonsella GOLD Personal Accident Life Cover benefit and cover are valid in South Africa only. Therefore, any member who passes away outside of the borders of RSA, will not be covered. *Exclusive to bonsella GOLD members only.
Accidental death is defined as an unforeseen incident that happened unexpectedly and unintentionally at an identifiable time and place, and was caused by violent, external and visible means and resulted in the death of the Main Member. Suicide is therefore specifically excluded.

Your bonsella GOLD Personal Accident Life Cover start date is on the first day of the calendar month following your first successful monthly debit order payment. *Exclusive to bonsella GOLD members only.
The Personal Accident Life Cover benefit is available to bonsella GOLD members only. In the event of death due to accidental cause, a cash benefit of R15,000.00 will be paid to your nominated beneficiary (this person must be 18 years or older and must have a valid South African bank account). The cover is embedded within your bonsella GOLD membership, and is underwritten by Stangen (Authorised FSP: No 47235).
The bonsella Legal Advice line offers advice on all legal matters, including: criminal offences, labour matters, fines, debt, contracts, divorce, maintenance and motor vehicle accidents.
The bonsella Assistance line is for advice and refferals to the most appropriate professional only. Should you choose to visit the referred service provider, any fees will be at your own cost.
No, unfortunately the voucher is only valid when presented before a purchase or booking is completed and no refunds will be given for unredeemed vouchers.
No, vouchers are not transferable and a valid ID document may be required for verification with bonsella benefit providers and / or discount partners.

For a monthly fee of just R19, members get DOUBLE bonsella competition entries as well as exclusive monthly savings at Jet, discounted funeral services and access to the bonsella Assistance Line (Crisis Assist, Legal Advice, Homework Help, Health Advice and Clinic Services) - valued at more than R300 very month.
bonsella GOLD is the premium paid-for tier of bonsella. For a monthly fee of just R49, members get DOUBLE bonsella airtime and competition entries as well as exclusive monthly savings (Jet, Edgars, CNA, WeFix, Intercape Bus, PSL Tickets and Magazine Subscriptions), R15,000 Personal Accident Life Cover and access to the bonsella Assistance Line (Crisis Assist, Legal Advice, Homework Help, Health Advice and Clinic Services) - valued at more than R750 every month.
Your bonsella SILVER membership fee of R 19.00 or bonsella GOLD membership fee of R49 will be charged each month for access to your benefits.
Your bonsella airtime and competition benefits will be activated immediately on successful registration. Retail discounts, assistance services and insurance (GOLD only) benefits will be activated within 48 hours of first successful monthly payment. You will be notified by SMS upon activation of your benefits.
